defrost cavalier 93
Is it normal that when I put the defrost on the green light of the A/C stays on?

Re: defrost cavalier 93
I noticed that on my 1993 Cavalier after I had the engine pistons worked on. Mechanic said "that keeps the AC working in the off season, so it doesn't become a problem"

Re: defrost cavalier 93
it actually dries the air that is blown at the windshiled in order to clear it quicker but yeah it also works the a/c compressor out.

Re: defrost cavalier 93
Thanks guy if it's not a problem I'll live with it as long it doesn't suck to much gas...

Re: defrost cavalier 93
By nature of the AC being on, it will suck additional gas.
