5.4 Vs 5.7
In all honesty who do you think would win in the 1/4 mile the 5.4 or the 5.7 both of the trucks are stock. A guy I know want to race just to see who has the faster truck. He has a 98 1500 with the 5.7 I have an 00 150 with 5.4.

^Question is it a dodge you are going to race? If it is a dodge I think that a '98 would be a 5.9l. And what are the trucks configs. cab size, bed, two or four wheel drive?

i know i dont belong here but i was just browsing around the site. If i remember correctly a 350 vortec has 255 horsepower, the 5.4 in 2000 had 260 i think (same as a 4.6 gt mustang, just alot more torque) so i guess it really depends on the setup. I see its been couple of days since the post, have you raced yet, if so who won?

no have not raced yet the guy is all talk and no action he keeps telling me how his truck is going to kick my trucks ass but he needs to put his money where his mouth is. I'm good to go any time any where
