my engine

i know some of u v6 guys have expressed interest in buying parts off of my moded 3800, i have bad news in good news....my moter is spoken for as of today. i have had a crazy time finding a t56 for my new setup and im running out of time. so today i worked out a deal with our engine builder. ill give him my engine and in exchange ill get one of his blueprinted trannys with a spec 5 clutch, a new NOS kit, and a few odd and end parts i need for my engine...altanator and braket, ported throttle bottle, and a ls6 intake. good news is i have another 3800 at the shop, it dosnt have forged internals like the one i have now,but it has many of the same upgrades as mines does. i am one of those folks who understands things will break and u all know how much spray i was running through this one so being smart i picked up a used 3800 and put some basic mods on it as well. if anyone is interested pm me and we can talk further. i know mines was what everyone wanted, but it is pretty close and the milage isnt bad. so let me know whats good

most lids are very similar, they are pretty much ported and smoothed out bellows... new lids on ls1's usually yeild about 5-10 hp... the stock intake on ls1's arent bad in the first place... i don't know wether or not u can put the ls1 intake on the 3.8 4th gens or not...

Re: my engine

if i bought it, it wouldnt be the engine, it would be the performance parts u put on it, headers, any intakes u had, etc

Re: my engine

well the second engine isnt together at all so the cam, headers hell everything is standing alone. and iwe may be just racing engine for engine because i have to put 2000 miles on the damn thing (with different driving conditions) breaking it in brfore i can spray her. but i may hit it once lol...u may see my shit blow up...naw u wont see that, but it will be a great race im sure
