94 escort wipers wont shut off
i have a 94 escort and the windshield wipers wont shut off, they are the ones that have the switch on the right side of the steering wheel that looks like a turn signal switch, and when u move it up its supposed to turn them on and down shuts them off, well when i move it up it will speed them up like its supposed to but when u push it down it will just slow them down but not shut them off, i have replaced the switch and checked the wires and connections and its still doing the same thing, if neone can help id really appreciate it, thanks, please feel free to email me at [email protected]

well i hope your not this dumb but uhh that switch starts in off then up for variable speed then up one more for fast. theres 3 seeting not 2.
you just could very well be switching it from fast to slow, turn it down one more lol.
