How do I check Fuel Injectors with motor running?

Anyone have any ideas on how to check Fuel Injectors while the motor is running? I tried taking off the Plenium but of course that didn't work as the van shot to about 6000 rpm when started. I am getting error 26 on the codes of Peak injector current has not been reached. Here is what I found on how to check the problem but I am not sure how to do this. Testing fuel injectors It is impossible to get at all the injector wires (or the injectors themselves) while the van is running without removing the plenium from what I am seeing. I do have multi Meters to test with and know how to test the voltage but am not sure what to set it to to test Ohm's if I do get that far. Here ar e the meters I have. My Meters Any help on this would be very much appreciated.

Testing items that are operated on only momentary signals is not a job for a DVM, there are scopes for that kind of work. In addition, watch out when using the resistance mode of your meter around cars. It is very easy to fry a computer input by putting the the meter across an input. The battery in the meter is more than enough to fry something.
