Keyless Entry Fuse burning out

'01 525i,

Fuse (7.5) blows when using key to lock/unlock door. (This just started happening--worked fine prior).

Advice has been to disconnect the the Fuel Door lock, since it may be shorting the system. But it could be any of the door locks on the system.

Any advice on this type of situation, before having the shop troubleshoot the electrical?

How would I disconnent the Fuel Door lock?

Check wiring harness going into trunk lid, at left side of lid with it open. Wires like to break there resulting in blown Central Lock fuse
