Plug Gap

I bought Bosh Platinum plugs factory gapped @ .58. Is this the correct gap are these Bosh plugs any good? 2002 Winstar Sport 3.8l

garbage plugs stick with motorcraft 52-56 for gap

The windstar needs DOUBLE platinum plugs.....as in BOTH the center and "ground" electrode are platinum enhanced. ONLY the Motorcraft and Autolite brands make this style of spark plug. The Bosch plugs do not have the platinum on the "ground" electrode(s). I would do as you have been advised....and buy ONLY the Motorcraft brand of Double Platinum plug that is specified for your car.
The Bosch plug is NOT a good fit for the FORD Windstar....so I would take them back......or whatever.....as long as you do not install them in your windstar.
