How Much Does Radio Shack Pay?

Depends on where you are. They pay whatever the minimum wage designated by the state is plus what incentives depending on the type of store.

There are two types of stores, a V store and a Y store. Y stores are paid minimum wage plus what are known as Spiffs, a commission like incentive that gives an extra few bucks per item that has a spiff attached (cell phones, service plans). A V store is a commission store. They get paid minimum wage plus commission off of items in the store.

Depending on how well you can sell the item and the customer, you can make quite a bit of money at RadioShack. I worked at one for a year or so and don't have any complaints.

Ummmm, both. Its definitely a plus that you can speak a 2nd language, especially if its Spanish, but then again its a downfall if your English isn't all that great. As long as the averagej oe can understand what you're saying you'll be fine tohugh.

Radio shack pays by commission. Basically, if you make no sales in an hour, you get paid 5.15. It sucks, don't do it.

Actually, that depends on the location of the store. If the store is in the mall, they will be all over you like a fly on shit. If it's a store somewhere in a strip mall, they're more likely to attempt talking to you on a personal level. It's all about the atmosphere of the store.

And about the pay, it's really not that bad if you know how to sell (which isn't hard). I put nearly 1k in the bank in around 2 months, and that was putting half of each check in. You can tell me that that's really not that much, but whatever, it's not as bad as people make it out to be.
