yeah that's not a street race though, that car was f**kin bookin it, like superspeed.... street cars don't go that fast (and out of control)

Yeah, come on, you can't compare street racing to pros going at it, no way that street cars can go that fast. And people know the risks, and pro's know them even better. If they want to risk their lives like that, happy at it. Go for it.

Yo Anybody can drive fast in a straight line, shows no driving ability. I want to see one of the drag driver hoop in a F1 or Indy car and do a couple of hundred laps and show there driving ability!!!!!!wusses

Let's see you hop in any type of hardcore dragger and keep it on the track after 1/2 a sec. I know Indy cars are bad@$$, I love watching them and it does involve a $hi+load of skill. But you're going so much faster and trying to keep it in a perfectly styaraigt line whichs basic physics doesn't allow. It's by no means as easy as it seems.

well drag racing isn't really about the driver... it's about the crew and how they get the car together, the fuel mixture, etc.

After racing drag cars for over 10 years its alot harder then you think.
Going from a standing start to over 300km's in 1/4 mile in 5 secs takes BALLS...one mistake and its goodnight
I cant see how you can even compare the two....they are totally different.
Sit in a "funnycar" with 5000bhp sitting in front of you.That engine is a time bomb waiting to go off.

Drag racing is 90% engineering and 10% skill. The driving part is easy if you want to be average, but to be good you have to be able to concentrate on the tree, your shift points and how the car is behaving on the track :smoka:
