No more Eclipse...

Today on my way home from work some dumbass pulled out in front of me (while going 35) I t-boned her and did quite a bit of damage to my eclipse, ds fender, lights, bumper, and hood, and ds suspension all f-ed up. On the plus side i only paid $250 for it and will probably get around $3k fro the insurance co. so basically i come out on top but it still suck to loose my car i'll post the one pic i took with my phone (if i can figure out how to get it on the computer). I'm thinking of getting a 2g gsx which would be sweet.

Another good thing was that she was driving a prius and her car may be totalled that'll teach her to drive a hybrid.

Hmmm...I got hit by a woman too(to this date, twice), makes me wonder why our insurance is so much higher when they're the ones talking on the phones not giving a shit??????????????????????? sorry to hear about your loss...

Yeah no kidding!!! I have been within a couple inches of about 8 accidents and somehow manage to avoid all of them. I wasnt paying attention once, an old guy with a super jacked up truck didnt look low enough before he switched lanes and almost hit me, and the other 6 were from crazy girls not paying the fuck attention! Sorry to hear about your car and good luck with a new one.

Sorry to hear about that bud. But I am definately glad that you are ok. I got rear ended in may by a girl driving a jeep. SHe was only 20 years old and with another girl. Smashed my rear end pretty good, did 4k worth of damage but at least she had insurance and we were all ok.
I got my car fixed and her insurance bought me a 1k GPS system to boot. Good luck on your next car

Sometimes insurance can't replace the memories that you have with a car. I know that sounds kind of wierd, but anyways, the important thing is that you're okay.

One Friday i talked to the lady's insurance company and the want me to pay for 10% of the damage. They said some bullshit about a partial negligence law in IL that says something like you are supposed to slow down when approaching an intersection. I've talked to someone who used to be an insurance agent and said it is bullshit, I fucking hate insurance companies. Hopefully they will just give in and give me 100% without going to court, has anyone ever been in a similar situation, i was not at fault in any way but they claim I'm slightly at fault, plus she was issued a ticket at the scene.

She caused the accident therefore her insurance should pay 100% of the damages, i have liability only, so my insurance co. really isn't involved.

someone side swiped my eclipse when it was parked on my one way streetin front of my house. $4k worth of damage. 2 of my 18" motegi's were gone, and a ton of body work, steering rack, axle... it was a hit and run, insurance covered me under uninsured motorist. and i had to dish out my $500 deductable... i bet it was a women too!

Damn, that sucks that your car is totaled. Atleast you're gonna get a new car in the deal. Whenever I drive my beater I hope someone hits me so I can get rid of it and get some money.
