Transmission pump 1993 Century
Hi there! I am hoping someone here can help me out. I have inherited my moms buick. I could not bring myself to drive it for awhile so it sat for about 6 months. Now it appears as though the transmission pump is shot. A shop told me it would be about $1200.00 to fix. I am wondering if there is a place in or around Seattle to buy a used tranny for less than the $450/475 a yard in Everett qouted me. I would love to save the car. as there is only 94,000 mi on it, she was the original owner and she took very good care of it. Thanks!

Try car-part.com. There are many transmissions available in your area and at a more reasonable cost although some shipping may be necessary.

Thanks! They had quite a few listed although many would require shipping. There was a place only an hour or so north of me and they priced at $250. Much more in my range. Now I just need to find a mechanic...
