Broken Trunk Torque rods
Hey guys this post is actually for my dad. He has had both of the torque rods break that support his trunk. Does anyone know how to replace them, and whether or not it requires taking the trunk off, etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Broken Trunk Torque rods
I'll ask a buddy of mine for some info. He has converted his 93 rear end to a 96-99 by replacing the trunk and tail lights. He's pretty familiar with the trunk mechanics.

Re: Broken Trunk Torque rods
Had the rods replaced in my 95 bonneville. You have to take the back seat out to get the rods in.
