Odometer and tripmeter not working 95

The other day I noticed that the odometer and tripmeter are not running... frozen... is that a fuse problem or sensor? thanks in advance

Re: Odometer and tripmeter not working 95

it might be a cable. i havent been back there and tinkered with anything behind the dash yet.
My trip and odometer has been broken for a while.
Speedo works fine still

It could also be a bad instrument cluster, it's kinda rare to have the speedo & tach freeze up. It could also be a communication error between the body module and the instrument cluster.

yassir the 95 is electonic but if the sensor was bad the speedo would not be working either i would venture a guess that the cluster is having a maalox moment---obd2 doesnt give too many body control module codes but should give some info --have codes checked and if nothing on obd2 have it scanned at ford dealer with superstar tester or ngs-

Contact Scott Kornhaus on TCCoA's forums. He fixes gauge clusters.
