Did you try jumping the wire at the low presure cut off? Its the switch that is on the drier. The big silver canister. Just pull the conection off and jump a wire across the plug. If it starts it is caused by a low charge. Don't run it with the wire jumped.

They sell a dye that you put into the system. It will mark the leak. If your leaking bad you are going to need a pro to service it. After the repair is made the system needs to have a vacumm pump put on it before its charged.

Thanks, do you have any idea how much that would cost?

Re: A/C Compressor will not turn on
if its a bad leak, you shoule be able to hear it, if you can mark it with a paint marker, if the system was dead for a day or longer (more then 24 hours) you will need a new accumulator or you will just have more problems in the long run, it will not be cheep, but as long as its not the evap in the dash it wont be to expecive either.. the professional shop oil/R134A will be the expencive part of the whole thing
