3" shackle lift
i think shackle lift is what its called haha i'm not a genious but any way i was wondering if i could do this .... i have a 95 yj wrangler and all four sides as you probably know have leaf springs... well i purchased this kit that extended the shackles(where the leaf springs hook in) down about 3 inches ... would the original shocks be long enough for this or should i get longer ones and if theres any other conflict someone please let me know before i screw somethin up

Re: 3" shackle lift
not sure about the shocks, but you'll want to have the alignment checked after you install the lift. by just using longer shackles, the axles will be rotated a little bit, and that could effect your caster angle(front axle), and pinnion agle(rear axle). also you'll want to make sure that your steering linkage doesn't bind, you may need a dropped pitman arm, and either a longer track bar, or a track bar drop bracket.
I could be compleatly wrong, I've only had my wrangler about a month, so I'm still learning about them, however, the steering and alignment are things that usuailly need to be addressed when lifting any vehicle. oh, and make sure that your break lines are long enough too.
