Question K&N air intake,help need!

Hi, I have one problem I just bought K&N kit for my car and in there prospects the filter(air intake) is wright in back of the engine directly on injecton...so the intake is breathin' warm air from engine, so now i want to do my cold air intake but I don't know where to put my intake or after the front bumper and make the whole in it and put in the mesh but I'm afraid that when it'll rain the intake will get wet and I don't know if the water ruined the intake or not, the next option is next to the battery and I'll bring to there cold air...

Please help me

Here is the one option:
But I'm affraid that water will ruined my intake...

i don't really know what your trying to ask, but the rain will not ruin your intake filter. i had an aem cold air intake before i had a turbo and the only thing that happened to it was that it got dirty really fast.

plus if you have a true K&N, they have a MILLION mile warranty. so if some how it got ruined they would most likely replace it.

see where my smic is, the filter used to be right where that is now.

its better to go the cold air route, and then pick up a bypass valve so if you drive through a puddle the intake wont suck up any water.
