Given its a 12 year old truck I would start with the battery cables. It is not uncommon to have corrosion inside the cables, or loose connections. Take a voltmeter and measure the resistance through the cables. Should be 0 ohms. Disconnect both battery cables before doing any testing - just a safety thing. Disconnect, clean and tighten all connections, including starter relay and starter connections.
Also, check your grounds. There is a ground point near the battery (part of the negative battery cable), one usually at the back of the engine where the ground strap attaches to the firewall, and one or two under the truck grouding the body to the frame. Clean and tighten these as well.
