Silverado driver side mirror broke

My ddrive side mirror got broke. Some kind of oil or something blew all down side of truck. Auto dim mirrors. any idea how to get this stuff off truck and can you just replace glass in this type of mirror

2003 Stepside xtend cab I have lots of extras on this truck including graphics which also got streaked
