try bleeding the brakes.
and when i say bleed them you will have to do it a few times.
I had the same problem with my 89 bronco 2.

ALlthough i had a bad caliper at first & still ended up having the same problem.
so i changed the master cylinder and bleed again.
same problem so i changed the booster. bleed again worked great for a while then started up again and found the rear wheel cylinder leaking. so changed it blead brakes again and worked great for about 2 weeks. then changed other wheel cylinder. and bleed again.
lasted for about 1 month then blead the brakes quit a few times to make sure i got out all the old fluid and whala 1 year later still working great.

ended up there was a air pocket.
and i did not find out till I started getting the new fluids blead out.

try that hope it works good for you.
