Cameron Wieldraayer / NightXCZ77 / nannyw2 is back (again)

I just won this eBay auction for a Skyline R32 GTR:

Turns out the seller is Cameron Wieldraayer. I refused to buy it since the car is illegal. Now he's threatening to sue me for breaking our "legally binding" ebay contract that according to him I "signed".

I hope he does sue, because either
a) he'll make an ass of himself for trying to enforce a contract to buy an illegal car.
b) he'll when and set a president that the cars he sells are legal.

Sounds win-win to me.

Just thought I'd warn any future buyers to beware the eBay seller nannyw2

I'm confident he is capable of getting a VIN and title from the Arizona DOT (whether he would actually do it once he has my money is a whole other matter), but after reading post from Sean Morris and others these cars are definitely gray market/illegal since they are not going threw a Registered Importer. I like to drive my cars so I don't need the insurance company or government screwing me if it's involved in an accident. Stupid government.

no no no no, he wasnt just the figure head, hes the one with all the lawsuits agains tthem. wtf are you doing buying a skyline off ebay anyways? its very very very rare to find one that is actually legal. you overpaid anyways. if you got it from a broker, probably woulda been around 10 grand.

Well I figured it was either legal and I'd be glad to pay the amount or it wasn't. $17500 barely covers the cost Moterex used to charge for conversion, how is that overpaying? It would be overpaying if it was just for the price of the car outside of the US.

That's your fault for buying a Skyline off Ebay. You ARE breaking the legally binding contract.

Man did he trick you. Did you even e-mail him and talk to him about the car? Or did you just buy it with knowing anything?

I e-mailed the guy just for fun, he told me he has an R34 GT for sale.

leave people like that alone, you touch him your just asking for trouble. He will get what he deserves soon enough for tricking people and stealing. If he sues you he will probably be the one that will be in trouble so I agree go to court and fight if he does sue you which i really doubt he will.

No, he is not. Its only a legal contrat if every thing about the car in the auction is factual. Any miss leading information would void said contract.

yes because he is the one that is actually breaking a contract with E bay stating that no false information may be written or something like that. Besides if he did this before and actually took someone's money it would be stealing no?

Hup that's true... That makes his arguement moot.

But honestly guys... You don't know the entire story about what happened. Cam's a good guy, he just kind of got screwed over. My best friend was right there with Cameron when his business went under. He used to sell with Night. So I've pretty much witnessed the entire thing go down.
