cigarette lighter socket
i don't have power to this socket. plus its a no go with the 2 accessory sockets (one front/ one back) none of them work.
any ideas why? do i need to re-run the wires? the fuses are all ok. no trailor hitch wires or anything. all other electrical is fine...so far.

Re: cigarette lighter socket
pull the plugs and see if the wires are still there.
I know of some folks that have cooked their wires from running to much stuff from them.

Re: cigarette lighter socket
is there an easy way to pull them? i mean, other than taking the panel off?
if the wires are cooked, what guage wire should i replace them with? keeping in mind that up front, i may run a radar detector and cell phone charger. out back, lord only know what i may come up with... is 8 guage overkill? would directly feeding off the battery be ok? (fused at both ends of course) this way power is at a constant on.
