'02 Caravan won't start

My wife's Caravan won't start. Worked this morning with no issues.

Lights and radio work
When I turn the key to start:
-- I get very fast clicks
-- the dash light go on and then off quickly
-- the guages spike

I haven't tried to jump it, since power does not appear to be a problem.

Thoughts?

Sounds like a bad or very weak battery to me or dirty battery terminals . First try cleaning the connectors with a toothbrush and a water and baking soda combo then get it load tested at your local parts store if it still doesn't work right.
