i need parts!!!!!

we are trying to restore a 1965 chevelle for a customer that was a parts car so it was totally striped.if you can help me find parts or the correct name for my discriptions it would help alot.first i need the back glass and the chrome trim around it.next i need the passenger side window track(not the regulator)but the piece that bolts to the glass .next on the trunk hinge there is a piece that holds the rod in place not sure what there called but i need both of them.next the trim piece in the archway of the glass on both sides not sure what its called but its under the drip rail and has a felt channel in it so the glass will seal at the top.next i need the piece that fills in the gap from back of door glass to front of rear quarter glass.right now with the windows there is a gap and its just glass on glass.also a sending unit cant find one 4 a chevelle(will one 4 a 65 impala work?)also i need a set of bucket seats for the front i dont care about the condition. thanks 4 the help

Re: i need parts!!!!!

you need to contact small town salvage yards because they still have a lot of the old cars sitting around. Also, check the back of Chevelle and Hot Rod magazines for sponsers/advertisements on chevelle replacements parts. I used to have tons of that stuff when I built my 66 chevelle. I have since handed them off to others, so I cant give you names and numbers. Anyway thats how I did a bunch of my resto. I got new glass locally for my 66, so you might try calling every glass supplier in your yellow pages first. Good Luck and have fun with those finishing touches.

Re: i need parts!!!!!

OK, I don't usually give up these sites, because people laugh at the names. These guys have the parts, period!
Ikes Automatic Transmission & Auto Repair Shop. 96502 East Highway 40 Craig, CO 81625-7926 Phone: (970) 824-2821
Don't let the name fool ya. He has over 40 acres of just Chevelles.

The second source is:

These guys have two sites that they store Chevelles.

Good luck
