Keyless entry fobs + receivers and FCC-IDs

I found someone selling a Remote Keyless Entry Receiver for a Dodge Intreped. It has FCC ID:
GQ43VT6R

and includes a pair of remotes that originally worked with the receiver. I have a bunch of remotes with a very simular FCC-ID:
GQ43VT17T

How do I determine if my remotes are "close enough" to be compatable with this receiver? Both are TRW brand RKE systems.
