vespa gas mixture
I recently got a 79 Vespa but I don't know how to mix the 2% oil/gas mixture. Does anybody know?

You put the oil into the gas. Then shake.
For more of the obvious: scooterbbs.com - they'll answer all of your questions. For everybody else, this is exactly why I advise you stear clear of used vespas...

I always wondered, why do you mix gas and oil for scooters etc

2 stroke engine, lubrication in the oil needed for piston, etc.

haha, ALL 2 strokes need manual mixing unless they have an oil injector.
