Question 2.5 v6 engine swap

i have a 93 escort with 1.9 and couple of months ago it cracked the head so i bought head from junkyard and after 1500 miles it droped a valve seat so im thinking about the 2.5 v6 mazda motor but i dont know what it requires to swap in. any info on what i should do

Being that you went through 2 head's in that short amount of time, you probly have a cooling system problem that is'nt showing up. The sensor for your temp gauge on your dash is located on the heater core hose, so if the heater core flow is restricted, the temp gauge will read cold, even if the engine is over heating.

The KL V6 swap is complacted and requires a lot of parts. Here is more info

If you want a swap that is cheap and easy, I'd suggest the 2.0 SPI swap, not as powerfull as the KL, but a hell'of a lot easyer for a LX owner and less costly.

sorry for not being so clear but the escort is my sisters car and the head cracked the first time because she ran around with out water but anyways thanks for the info on v6 swap and also i know the madza mx3 work for parts but would a mx6 work to ????
