1994 MGM...just purchased...got a couple of questions

My mom and dad just purchased a 1994 Grand Marquis, with a couple of problems. One is that the stereo face plate is missing, and we would like to know where we could get one, or where we should look. Second, the car only came with the ignition key, it has the numeric locking keypad on the door, is there a way to reset this? Is there a code somewhere?

All in all the car is in excellent shape except for those 2 things....looks like new and only has 78,000 actual miles.....interior is spotless.

If anyone could help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Face plate you prob need to get from Ford, the keyless entry you will also have to pick up from Ford with a nice wade of cash.

As far as the key code, look in your trunk lid near the black piece that opens and closes your lid. Theres a 5 digit code on a sticker somewhere in there.

I also have a 94' MGM with 51k original miles. Please when you go to Ford to get these items, have them check your EGR valve. Trust me, you will thank me later.

I agree. I stupidly paid a Ford dealer $90 for a new remote before checking out other options. Even e-bay has a ton of them.
