No fire Aries 88

While driving my Aries at a steady speed, it suddenly lost acceleration. As it lost speed I still continued to gas it, it caught for about 2 seconds. Lost all speed and wont start. Replaced distributor cap, rotor, module, ignition cylinder, checked power wire, the battery is new and so are spark plug wires. Turns over but no fire. Only has 65,000 original miles, help please.

Re: No fire Aries 88

Check the timing belt.
The timing belt is supposed to be changed at 60K.
If it is the original, it is probably cracked and in bad shape anyway, even if it isn't causing the problem you have now.
