I have a 2001 SC2 that is running great and in very good repair. I have it serviced regularly, but today my service engine soon light came on. The thing that bothers me is that it came on exactly when my milage hit 85300 miles. I have heard that some manufacturers have the service engine light turn on automatically after a certain milage. Could this be the case, or is it just a fluke? Thanks for the help.

Re: 2001 SC2 Service Engine Light
its a fluke, manufactiors haven't done that since the 1980's. most auto part stores will read OBD2 codes for free.
