s-10 engine swap

my buddy has a 86 carlo with a 305 V8, and i have a 1991 S-10 2.8L.
Hes buyin a 350 for the carlo and said i can have the whole engine and trans for free. would this fit and how hard would it be to put it in there. I kno i prob will sell my 2.8L engine for the wiries and stuff for the new engine and also it is rebuilt, but would i have to buy any kits or anything?
Another question is would my 5 speed trans bolt right up to the 305 or would i just have to use the auto trans from the carlo.

different bell housing, if you know automotive, diagnostics n' how to turn a wrench, is to call up summit racing and tell them what your doing, you need a mount kit, e fan, possibly a thinner radiator, and i sugggest re building atleast the top half of the 305, if the valve seals done leak and burn oil yet, they will

Make sure to use a short shaft water pump. You need to label all the wires from the old engine (choke, alternator, starter, etc.) because you will be making your computer useless.
