Angry all im reading is D15b7s suck balls!!

sup guys.. im a noob... too bad for me... any way i have a d15b7 in my 92 dx hb.... i want to do a mini mee swap and a lowboost turbo but ive read that they have week rods and berings.basicly the engine SUCKS! and is just for normal driving, so doing a mini me swap and a turbo is pointless. this breaks my heart guys!!!.. i really wanted a soch turbo or soch vtec turbo. maybe some one can tell me that there d15b7 wips ass and runs great and has run great for some time...... so it looks like you guys are goona say swap that $#!+ outa there. if so whats a good motor to turbo with stock internals..... I REALLY WHANT A TURBOCHARGER TO PULL ME AROUND!!!!!!!

theres a bunch of turbo mini me out ther. weak point on the d15b7 is the rods like u said, but i belive ls rods do fit. search www.sohchonda.com a bit and ull find plenty of post. i do belive that the vx bottom end has some pretty good strenght to it, not 100% tough

LS rods can be custom cut to fit in

Get a B, H or K.
simply put you'll have naysayers that say Ds can be fast you know i've yet to lose to an FI D with my N/A B and, my block is ready for 15psi *I would need to lower comp*

sure you can get some power out of a D but any real power youll need to rip apart and rebuild for boost. when you can lay around 250-300 with bolt ons and a nice kit on a B.

best motor to build up with fair ease would be the b18c1 GSR motor great for boost and N/A costs alot but great motor i had one.
