Question Power Window/lock Problems

I have a 93 caprice and since I've had it, there have been some minor problems in the electrical system in the drivers door. when it was really hot or really cold (yes, minnesota has real seasons), the power windows would be sluggish or completely unresponsive until the car got near a normal temperature. I've proved this with some temperature experiments, but im baffled with how temp can affect electrical switches.

a week ago, the windows stopped working altogether with the right front window down 2 inches. i dont want to go through any more rainstorm soakings, so I want to get this fixed asap.

the power locks also have a temperature sensitivity... they only work when its between 40 and 70 outside.

I'm assuming the 2 problems are related and a local auto parts guy said its the relays, but wasn't any more specific than that. does this sound familiar to anyone? i can take the door panel off, but where to go from there...

my soggy seat awaits your help!

Re: Power Window/lock Problems

Theres a relay for the power locks behind the ECM, but in my 84 sedan there is no relay that I know of for the power windows. This is stumping me.
