i just had my vehicle in the dealership to diagnose a problem with the abs braking system. turns out that the wheel sensors are not working correctly and need to be replaced. ( estimate $1100.00 + ) from searching on the internet i found that this is a fairly common problem, and in fact was a subject of a recall in canada. i removed the fuse for the abs system from the fusebox, and it seems to have solved the problem. my question is, if anyone knows, will this do any damage or cause any problems other than disabling the abs system?
