Need help from engine swappers....
my friend has a 96 civic and he want to put a b20 in his car. the thing that scares him is the wire harness..how will he go about installing the ECU and other necessary wires? any pitcures would help so much..

Most plugs would be the same, for the most part. also the ECU you can use OBD2 LS ecu, i dont think that CRV one would work - its for autos.

oh yea, he'll get a manual LS tranny to go with it. so the harness should buckle perfectly right? any wires to snip?

you can get B20's with manual tranny's too eh...

The LS tranny will be fine.
The only times that i can think of to run extra wires is when you: a) go from OBD1 to OBD, or reverse B) add Vtec YOu will need a LS or skunk2 intake manifold, also the integra throttle cable will be needed. but wiring should be just a plug and play. But if anyone know anything, please correct me. |
