CD Player choices (respond ASAP)

sup, i have a 97 civic, and then cd player that came with (not stock), has gone to hell and will no longer operate correctly. and its also ugly as hell, SOOO... im gettin a new cd player. i dont have a job right now so my dad i payin for it, but i hav to stay under $300. i dont want somethin totaly awesome, just real nice. i kinda like sony xplod's, if anybody could link me to any cd player websites or show me pics of any i'd really appreciate. we are goin shoppin for one today....

personally..i wouldn't go with sony. not-so-good sound quality. how about alpine? this one looks like it'll fit your budget:

plus the only reason why it cost so much is because the screen. there are no crossover, eq, etc in this unit whats so ever.

Aftermarket ones offer more flexability and are better then anythign that would ever come in a headunit... but you are right, wouldnt buy it if you just want a $300 headunit
