Re: Toyota Cavailer

Actually there are some more differences in the two animals then just badging. Things like the tails and the mirrors to me give the cavis alot less of a cartoony/cheesy look.

As for importing one. That could be kinda tricky as well as costly. Good luck with it though.

Re: Toyota Cavailer

yea i relize that there is more then just a badge difference. But your right, all the differences are very much an improvement over the us cavis. But i just found out they never made a 5 speed Toyota Cavalier, only autos. And i don't wanta mess with a tranny swap. But what happens if i installed a US vin tag from a chevy cavalier on a JDM model of the same year and registered it that way?

Re: Toyota Cavailer

but that sucks about the engine thing...cuz that would have been cool to find out that they made the VVTi an easy drop for the cavy

Re: Toyota Cavailer

Oh, yea. I was hopping for a better engine in the yota'
Also, Is the cavi' fun to drive? lol cuz we got a mini cooper and honda element. So i was thinking of making a clean looking cavi, in black with a turbo and some decent performance.
