95 Elantra intake
I was looking at my girlfriends car, and she wants an intake on it. but i noticed that it has a really weird intake setup. im not sure what it is but there is a huge electrical sensor inside the cylindrical air filter. is there anyway to fit an intake on this thing?

Hi, I have a 2004 Elantra GLS, and I know what you mean. I just bought an intake off of Ebay for my car, and it fit like a charm. The only thing that I took off my Elantra was the air box assembly and the hose and clamp going up to where the sensor is plugged in, from there up I left it alone. Everything install probably took me no more than ten minutes. If you're looking where to buy, go onto ebay motors and type in your search for a Hyundia Elantra Intake system. I bought mine for $9.00 and paid $22.00 for shipping from intakepower. Since installing, I have had increased horsepower and better gas milage, not to mention the car has a heavier sound to it(sounds like more powerful, like headers).

hey thanks for the reply. i managed to get a pipe and adapt the stock filter and huge MAF/Temp sensor to it. sounds a little better but not as good as it should be. the actual air intake opening is very small. oh well still does the job.
