timing chain

hey i have a 97 chevy cavalier rs 2.2 and it has 112,000 miles on it. i was wondering if any body knew how long does the timing chain last before you need to replace it?

theres no set time span for how long a time chain last...depends how the previous ppl drove the car...it could last you another 50,000miles or another 5miles...theres no way of knowing

FWIW I got rid of a 1993 2.2 OHV Cav with the original timing chain at 150,000 miles. Was well maintained though.
