Exterior Lighting MOD

I've working on this for awhile, I dont think I have seen it anywhere else. I took the front bumpers licence plate cover and cut out the lettering that reads PONTIAC. The cuting was done first with a dremel tool. It left shaggy edges, so i used an exacto knife(pain in the hand) Hers a pic.


Then I put tape over the cutouts and filled in the letters with transparent hot glue. Heres a little picture of it light up RED.


Once I'm done I'll wire up LEDS, probley Pontiac Red/orange, to the parking lights then when I turn them on it'll glow red like the pic above. I'll get better Photos when I install it on the car later this week. Enjoy.

Ok I hav finished this project. I was going for Red but went with blue.
After I built a wall around the letters to fill with hot glue.


Then I filled it here and inserted the BLUE LEDS.


To keep the light shining bright I covered the glue with foil. I figured it would help keep the letters illuminated.


And here is the part finished.


I know alot of people here are not into MODS but for those who are, this is a simple mods with great looks. I had heads turning ALL weekend long. If anyone has questions please ask away and Enjoy.
