Did you see the pictures of the Jeep Patriot concept vehicle from the car show in Frankfurt ? It looks like the closest thing coming from Jeep that resembles the original Cherokee. Maybe they are listening to the Cherokee owners ? Too early to tell how rugged the drivetrain will be though. I'm sure they won't have the good old 4.0L.

I agree still looks like a liberty. Nothin can beat the good ole cherokee. PLus the patriot is half plastic from the looks prolly wouldn't be too well on the trail.
