93 Civic Auto Shift Cable

Problems with going into/out of Park. Nothing seems to be binding at shifter or connections. Is this a typical cable problem or is there something in the tranny I need to look at. I noticed a small cover below the Cable input, which I am assuming must be removed (with fluid loss) to access the cable in/out? Any help?

If u have bad brakes it messes with a sensor, dont kno witch 1 but it will assume the brake isnt depresed.
