Where's the windshield washer pump on a '96 ?
I bought my '96 used, and the windshield washer doesn't work.
Whenever I try it I don't event here the pump motor working. I've checked all the fuses I can find (don't know where this fuse is though). And yes, the resevoir has water. Anyone know where it is ? I can't seem to locate it. Thanks, FLTango |

Windshield washer pump
Mine just died on me recently. It was intermittent before it croaked but like you, there is no noise when activating the spray.
On my 95 (and similarly for all 4th gens), the pump is located attached to the windshield washer reservoir. You need to peel back the passenger wheel well cover to access the reservoir from below. Unfortunately, the fluid in the reservoir will dump out when you remove the pump. Get the pump at your dealer or Autozone ($16) usually has it in stock. Test the new one out before you remove the old one. Takes about 30 minutes. |

My 96 se had the same problem the pump went bad and quit working and I did exactly what mishmosh2000 did. It is really easy to do. might want to remove the wheel though to make it easyier to get in there, I didn't and had to work around it, what a b#$%&.
