'99 Monte Carlo security light question

I have a 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo, and the security light comes on while I'm driving. Is that a problem that I should be concerned about? Thanks.

This can be scanned for security trouble codes with a tech11 scanner, usually only dealers have scanner capable of this, some high line Snap On units also.
