brass headlight gears
ok, i had the grinding noise when the lights closed so i rotated the gears so that worked for a while till now when one light grinds on the opening and closing
is there any negative feedback about the brass replacement gears? im thinking it is going to be too hard on the motor, and since a little give is necessary for mechanics to work properly im scared i weill have to soon replace my motor if i get the brass thankyou |

Re: brass headlight gears
I know of a ton of people that have the brass and haven't heard any negative to it. I bought one but never put it in but will eventually get to it. Just a stronger gear that is all.

Just installed them
Well i Just installed them on my car they work great the hardest part about installing them is getting the control arm off of the motor shaft but that was because myn had rusted together but a little wd-40 and a few mins of letting it soak and it came off by prying it off with a screwdriver, other than that yea its pretty simple
