V8 or V6 (help!) many questions
Ok should I buy a v6 or v8. I dont care about speed really, I want power! I want my friends to feel the power. But what my biggest question is, sound/exhaust. I want the low pitch rumble sound, the sound that people hear and know your car is powerful. Say I got a v6 and got flowmaster exhaust or whatever, would it still be a low pitch sound the same as if I got a v8. Ive been hearing to many different things, so I want your guys opinion

It makes zero sense to say you don't care about speed but want power...they go hand in hand. If you have power you have speed. If you can afford V8, get it. Don't ever buy a V6 if you can afford the V8. You'd be paying more on insurance and gas if you're wondering why you'd pay more for the V8. What year and models were you looking into?

If you have the power you're going to use it. It's human nature. Are you one to crack under the peer pressure of a carful of buddies pressuring you to race that idiot in the Mustang next to you? or what about every pesky little honda that comes up buzzing behind you thinking he and his "powered by pep boys" honda can take you on?
Be honest with yourself- can you control yourself? If you have to think about this- then the V8 may not be right for you at this time. there's no doubt about it, the V8 will be the better car. Not only will the engine be more reliable, able to withstand a longer life, it'll give you that throatier sound you want, it'll give you the acceleration potential you want. It's more responsive to power upgrades such as engine modifications and bolt on parts. But, it'll also get you into trouble easier if you're not careful. the 3800 V6 is still a 200hp car. not bad considering that the third Gen Trans Ams started out with considerably less power than this. Good luck with whatever you choose.
