Re: deciding what engine to use

youll prob want the 3sge. if you can get your hands on a later model jdm 3sge youll be in good shape then. i hear theyre pushin 200hp all motor. its what powered the gts everywhere but here in the 5th and 6th gens. how can u call it a gt"sport" when it has no more performance than a regular gt?

Re: deciding what engine to use

Is it easy to convert the BEAMs motor to a transverse mount? Why not just going turbo 4AGE? *wink* *wink*

naw he has a 4th, he even has a photo album of his car. 3rd gen seems to be the 2nd least common celica to be fixed up. First being 2nd gen, lol no one wants that car.

Re: deciding what engine to use

that beams engine is bad ass 210hp na. imagine if you turboed it at least 280. thats better than st205 3sgte. and its cheaper.

Re: deciding what engine to use

sort of, the only reason why it has more power is because the higher compression and the slim diffrence in the head, if you were to swap head from that and a 2nd gen 3sgte and up the comp it would be the same....
