how to put cruise control on a car w/o cruise??
So does any one know how to do it? I just bough a 90 4 door EX. It was wrecked on the rear really bad so i am using it for parts, so if any one needs something let me know.
I already took the 1.6L engine, 5 speed tranny, and the front hubs, gotta save the goodies for my car

lol, yea its not an easy task my friend, your gonna need to find a car with a cruise control setup, take the throttle cable, the throttle lever, some servo's, lines etc. i dont recommend doing it. stick with the brick.

Well since he just got an EX, I would assume he already has *everything* he needs for the swap?
I assume if you moved the engine and computer over, it would also be just as simple as carrying the cruise control parts over with the new engine. The steering wheel parts may be tricky though? Don't know how much or what you'd have to move over for that.

yeah, you basically need... everything... from the steering wheel (with the controls on it), to the entire pedal assembly, to the cruise control computer.
There are after market cruise systems available, but all the ones I've seen worked like CRAP, so ah well.
