Radio Problem
Hello -- I'm New Here -- Have (2) Trans Sports: '92 + '93.
The '93 Has The Steering wheel Controls For The In-dash Stereo Cassette Radio. Mine Has "frozen" -- Will Turn On And Off But When On Emits No Sound Nor Will It Change Radio Frequencies. Do You Think It's Dead -- Or Just Needs Something Else? Thanks! Also Interested In An Upgrade To A Cd System -- That Is Compatible Withthe Steering Wheel Controls... |

Re: Radio Problem
if you can find a GM CD radio, they are almost all steering wheel control compatible, and installation is easy. I think the internal amp has went bye bye in your existing stereo, so it's time for a new one. Aftermarket companies offer a control module that works with most stereos that have remotes to allow you to use your steering wheel controls. Check out Crutchfield for the details. I just want to find one that also works with my heads up display.
