wondering what the difference is between a gt and gts transmission?

I have an automatic 92 gts and I have been trying and trying to find a manual transmission and have had no luck. I found a manual 92 gt, was just wondering if everything will bolt up or will be the same?? I need some help as there is a big race coming up in 2 weeks. Thanks.

Because we race 4cyl dirt stock, the auto just isnt quick enough off of the start or the turns compared to all of the manuals out there. Don't get me wrong its fast enough, but the take off is terrible. There is a honda crx si out there running with us and we can take him on the strait away just not the take off. Thanks for the info!
