Unhappy escort head skimming and problems

hi all, im new too the forum and im looking for some advice.got myself a escort 1.8si which had a blown head. since then the head has been removed skimmed 40.000th off and reinstalled. now im facing a problem following start up the car stalls till worm and then intermittentley revs at 900ish and drops and fluctuates and stalls, and i cnat work out the problem. any advice would be appreciated.

that could be a whole host of things from a vaccum leak to the IAC. Have you done a pressure test after the head job?
